Jim
Pinto
Mr. Pinto uses the experience he has gained both
in the military and in the insurance industry to lead a department
of proactive and highly trained client case specialists, business
analysts, and software programmers. He works closely with Westport’s
senior management, product development team, and the design and
analysis team to ensure that administrative service operations maintain
the optimal level of efficiency and accuracy.
As a former product manager for the imaging systems
unit at Fujitsu, Mr. Pinto provided software and hardware expertise
for the development of new products, including fax-on-demand services.
Mr.
Pinto earned a B.S. in Economics from Southern Connecticut State
University.
Ellen Ulrich
Ellen's role begins when insurance products are still conceptual. Staging the development of a client's ideas into new marketable products is her special talent. Under her careful management, products are ultimately installed and integrated into administrative systems. Applying dynamic experience in actuarial and technological analysis, as well as sales and marketing, Ellen synthesizes and mobilizes numerous teams to produce the best possible outcome for the client.
Her 18-year career in the life insurance industry includes experience in plan design, product development, project management, actuarial consulting, sales support, and illustration systems management and development.
She is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries and has earned a B.S. in Economics and Mathematical Sciences from the State University of New York at Binghamton.
Tim Callander
Tim provides corporate clients, consultants, and insurance carriers with customized, ongoing plan administration services.
His background includes over 25 years of experience managing the ongoing administration of over 200 non-qualified executive benefit plans and corporate owned life insurance programs. The majority of these clients being Fortune 500 companies.
Prior to joining Westport HRH, Tim spent 18 years with The Ayco Company, a Goldman Sachs subsidiary where he served several years as Vice President of Plan Administration. Previously, he served as Vice President of Information Systems, where he built and maintained systems to support Ayco's executive financial consulting business.
Tim holds an undergraduate degree in Mathematics, an M.B.A. in Information Systems, and an M.S. in Taxation from the State University of New York at Albany.
